Description

Volunteer with older adults at the Gaithersburg Book Festival Intergenerational Book Club booth May 20 in partnership with The Carnegie at Washingtonian Center. Volunteers will get to meet author Angeline Boulley of The Firekeeper’s Daughter and earn SSL hours. Volunteers must be able to get to the Book Festival at Bohrer Park, 506 S. Frederick Ave., Gaithersburg, MD 20877 on their own.

Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian  and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
