Join us at Piney Branch Elementary School on Saturday, April 15th 9-11am, to prep the school garden for the growing season! We will be adding compost to the garden beds, weeding, and seeding some summer vegetables.
This volunteer event is only for SSL students 13 and up. Volunteers under 16 years old must arrive with a parent or guardian to fill out Crossroads’ Volunteer Liability Form.
Please dress appropriately for the weather, and bring water, warm clothes, etc. We will also have water and some garden gloves to use if needed. Bathrooms will be available across the street at the Takoma Rec Center.

Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
