MUM needs volunteers to collect, sort, and transport donations on Saturday, May 13th (shifts from 5:00 – 10:30 PM). Drivers will collect the food from 7 post offices and bring the food to the Kensington Town Hall (3710 Mitchell St, Kensington, MD 20895) where it will be sorted and then transported to MUM storage units by volunteers on Sunday, May 14th (noon – 6:00 PM).

Volunteers under 14 need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian, and MCPS student volunteers cannot earn SSL hours for driving or transporting food.
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
