Weekly: Viet My Cultural Center hosts Saturday Vietnamese classes from September to June for individuals ages 5 and up who are interested in learning about the language, culture, music, arts, and foods. Volunteering opportunities are as follows:
- Assist teachers by tutoring students. Assist students with proper class attire.
- Use leadership skills in assisting with special program events such as coordinating and setting up stage decorations and props.
- Use organizational skills to help keep programs on schedule.
- Assist in leading cultural and heritage activities.
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
