Volunteers are needed for set up, tear down/clean up, and volunteering during the event for Rukundo International's Community Festival on October 14th, 2023 in Germantown, MD. More info at www.RukundoInternational.org/silent-auction
There are 3 volunteer shifts and you can serve at one, two or all three.
9AM-2PM Set up (set up tables, chairs, pop up tents, decor, games, etc)
1:30PM-6:30PM Event assistance (run games, crafts, check in, parking, etc)
6PM-8PM Tear down (dismantle stations and move items to truck)
Please let us know which shift(s) you are interested in, as well as your area(s) of interest when you reply, along with your age. Please note that a MANDATORY virtual pre-recorded orientation is required. The link to watch the orientation will be provided when registration is confirmed. The orientation can be watched at your convenience and will only take 30 minutes.
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
