Glen Echo Park's Echo Arts Festival is a celebration of Arts, Culture, Music, and Hispanic Heritage Month. This event will be on Sunday, October 1, 2023 from 12 pm - 5 pm on the grounds of Glen Echo Park. This is a rain or shine event, which most activities happening under cover.
Responsible, friendly volunteers are needed to assist with the day's event!
It's lots of fun to participate in Echo Arts Festival, and volunteering provides a great opportunity for students to earn SSL hours! We need volunteers ages 15 and older to help supervise and direct activities. Volunteer activities include:
- Helping with set up and clean up
- Assist staff durning event
- Directing visitors to events and amenities
Volunteer shifts are available from 10 am to 6 pm. Volunteers are asked to sign up for at least one four-hour (or more) shift.

Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours.
