Montgomery Community Media, a local non-profit, is in need of older teens and young adults to assist and participate in our upcoming Class, the Art of Mobile Media. Students will need transportation to and from our Silver Spring Media Lab in Downtown Silver Spring (we are just off the redline metro). Students will need to arrive between 4-4:30 and should stay until 8/8:30. Students will be asked to help us set up, take social media photos and videos during the class in addition to participating and helping participants, as well as clean up after the class. Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
