Adults and Students are needed to help remove several window murals around the Wheaton Urban District area.
Saturday 10/28 1-5PM (4 SSL Hours)
Sunday 10/29 1-5PM (4 SSL Hours)
Tasks will include washing, scraping and cleaning paint of windows - helping make sure all residual paint etc is cleaned up and thrown away, signage removed etc.
All supplies will be provided on site to be borrowed for the activity such as latex gloves, water, cleaner, scrapers, towels etc.
REQUIREMENTS: Volunteers should wear weather appropriate attire that they do not mind getting messy in (water/paint debris etc) including their footwear - which should be closed-toed comfortable shoes b/c we will be outdoors and walking to locations. You are encouraged to wear layers or a over-shirt/hoodie/jacket /smock that you do not mind getting potentially wet or messy due to the activity type. Those with longer hair may want to plan to tie it back or wear a head covering such as a hat or scarf.
Bottled water will be available onsite - No food will be provided - so Please make sure you eat well prior to the activity for energy.
SATURDAY LOCATION: We will meet at the Old Rescue Squad building garage that says "WONDERFUL WHEATON"

SUNDAY LOCATION: We will meet at the "umbrella mural" next to the Mid County Services Building which has Free Public Parking if needed.

Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours.
