We donate thousands of new hats, gloves, mittens, scarves and socks to K-12 and community college students through our Warming Hearts and Hands program. Donations of new winter accessories will be accepted at branch locations between November 1 and November 30.
We believe in making a difference in the education community by providing students with the tools they need to be successful. This is done in collaboration with the Student Service Departments of school systems and community colleges.
The Foundation is looking for volunteers to pack bins that will be provided across the state of Maryland to the education community. This event is one day.
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
