You are invited to join the Montgomery County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. to complete service projects to benefit residents across Montgomery County on Monday, January 15, 2024, from 9:30 am – 12:00 noon at the Silver Spring Civic Center. All on-site participants must register to participate.

In addition to various service projects, as a registered participant, you will have access to on-site health awareness and health promotion activities, including diabetes and blood pressure screenings.

Student Service Learning (SSL) opportunity hours are available for students.

The MLK Day of Service will have service projects open to the public on January 16, 2023 at the Silver Spring Civic Center.  The following organizations will provide the opportunities listed below:

Registration is required.  SSL hours will be available for students.

Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian  and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
