Join us in our Neighborhood Engagement work, where we seek to uplift community through our work in neighborhoods where we are building homes. We have chosen to partner with Montgomery County Public Schools as they develop a network of outdoor classrooms through their Title 1 or Community Schools that serve some of the poorest families in our county. We will be renovating outdoor space to create a school garden.
All work will be outdoors, so please dress in warm layers. Volunteers must wear closed-toe boots or shoes. Open-toe shoes, sandals and high heels are not permitted. Please wear long pants made of sturdy material, such as JEANS. Wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty.
Date:
Monday, Feb. 19th
Time:
9:00am - 12:00pm
Please contact our Volunteer Supervisor for more information: Sandra Limjuco
