Help us split and stack firewood, clean up our chicken coop yard and clear beds for planting flax. Light
lifting and hauling of split wood for use in the farmhouse and fire circles. Meet our heritage breed
chickens and geese, and help improve their quarters. Learn about flax, the weed you can turn into
fabric. All work at Button Farm is SSL eligible. Participants should wear sturdy work shoes and
clothes, bring water, a hat/sun protection, and bug spray. Gloves and tools will be provided.
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
