Leadership Academy for Social Justice (LASJ) Social Justice Fair
April 13, 2024 (8:30 a.m. - 3:35 p.m.)

The Walt Whitman High School Leadership Academy for Social Justice (LASJ) program will be hosting our inaugural LASJ Social Justice Fair on Saturday, April 13th from 11-1! 

Join middle and high school students and families from across the county as we welcome some amazing organizations and guest speakers who represent a wide variety of social justice issues. 

Currently, we have speakers from organizations that address issues such as grassroots organizing in Montgomery County, criminal justice reform, environmental justice, women's rights issues, healthcare reform, education reform, and more! 

SSL hours will be provided for students who attend. Come see what people and organizations are doing to improve our community and our world!

When: Saturday, April 13, 2024, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm

Where: Walt Whitman High School (7100 Whittier Boulevard, Bethesda, MD 20817)
