SUPPORT DISPLACED WOMEN IN OUR COMMUNITY
CB Girl-Led Service Project
Community Bridges (CB) High School groups are teaming up to give back to our community, and we'd love for you to join us! As part of a CB-wide service project, we will be crafting backpacks for homeless women, and we need your help to make it happen.
Here's how you can get involved:
Volunteer: Join us on volunteer day to pack the backpacks with the collected supplies and write inspirational notes to uplift those in need. It's a wonderful opportunity to make a direct impact on our community and spread positivity. Aside from volunteering, we'll have music, drinks, and snacks! *SSL hours to MCPS students!*

- SILVER SPRING VOLUNTEER DAY: Saturday, April 27th, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM in Silver Spring United Methodist (8900 Georgia Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20910)
- GAITHERSBURG VOLUNTEER DAY: Saturday, May 4th, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Casey Community Center (810 S Frederick Ave, Gaithersburg, MD 20877)
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
