On Tuesday, May 14th 2024 from 1pm-5pm, Sunday, May 19th from 10am-2pm we will be painting two storm drains in the Connecticut Avenue Estates neighborhood at the intersection of Veirs Mill Rd. and Valleywood Dr.
Limited parking is available along Valleywood Dr. Additional parking is available farther down the street at the intersection of Valleywood Dr. and Andrew St (11980 Andrew St. Silver Spring, MD 20902).
Paint, painting supplies, safety supplies (neon vests, cones, etc.) and SSL hours will be provided to volunteers. Please wear clothes that you are okay with getting dirty/covered in paint!
Anyone under 13 yrs. must be accompanied by an adult. Registration is required to volunteer at this event.

Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.

El domingo 19 de mayo de 2024 desde 10am hasta las 2pm estaremos pintando dos entradas de desagües pluviales (stormdrains) en el vecindario de Connecticut Avenue Estates en la intersección de Veirs Mill Rd. y Valleywood Dr.
El estacionamiento disponible es limitado a lo largo de Valleywood Dr. Estacionamiento adicional está disponible más abajo en la calle que intersecta Valleywood Dr. y Andrew St (11980 Andrew St. Silver Spring, MD 20902).
La pintura, suministros de pintura y de seguridad (chalecos de neón, conos, etc.) y horas de SSL se proporcionarán a los voluntarios. ¡Por favor, use ropa que se pueda ensuciar/cubrir de pintura!

La organización sin fines de lucro es responsable de mantener la seguridad de los estudiantes.
