Volunteer with older adults and other high school students to discuss favorite graphic novels this fall at the Intergenerational Graphic Novel Book Club at the Gaithersburg Public Library with Link Generations, Asbury Methodist Village, and Gaithersburg Beloved Community Initiative. Meetings are from 6:30-7:30pm: Added dates for Winter! January 20 (book: White Bird by R.J. Palacio). February 17 (book TBA). March 17 (book: TBA). Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
