Summer 2024 Student Ambassadors - Welcoming International Students and Families to MCPS

Do you speak Spanish? Another language?

We are seeking middle and high school students to welcome our newcomers who arrive to MCPS from all over the world. This is a friendly opportunity to practice your multilingualism, especially Spanish, with all languages welcome.

A brief training will be provided, and you will have support from MCPS staff. Please dress comfortably and bring a lunch, snack, and water bottle.

Our Welcome Center is in the All Purpose Room at Rocking Horse Road Center, 4910 Macon Drive, Rockville, MD 20852. Enter from the back parking lot. Follow the signs.

Student Ambassadors for SSL hours - You are encouraged to please sign up and commit to at least one week. We welcome you remaining with us throughout he summer.

This opportunity is appropriate for MCPS students who will be entering 6th grade - 12th grade in Fall 2024.
