Let’s Play America has been invited to join the City of Takoma Park, Maryland’s National Night Out on Tuesday, August 6, 5-9pm. We are looking for volunteers, ages 13 and older, to come volunteer from 5-9pm at this spectacular event. Meet at Piney Branch Elementary School at 5pm, Takoma Park, Maryland 20912. You should wear play clothes, sneakers, a hat, sunscreen and bring a water bottle. There will be food you can purchase. As a volunteer we ask you to do three things: help set-up the activities, invite people to play, and help clean-up. Let’s Play America’s tagline is CONNECTING COMMUNITIES THROUGH PLAY!
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
