We need help preparing donated bikes for a very special shipment to Costa Rica. This container, going out in August will include our 200,000th bike donated over 20 years. Volunteers will be using specific bike tools to remove pedals and compact handlebars for easier packing. No experience with bikes is necessary; we can train you in seconds! You can expect to use tools and handle greasy bikes, so dress to get dirty. The warehouse can be hot; there is no AC. Who knows, maybe you'll be the one who compacts that very special bike!
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
