The Cherrywood neighborhood is located in Olney, MD. The Cherrywood Homeowners Association (HOA) holds an Annual Neighborhood Picnic each September and would love to have your help! This year the picnic date is Sunday, September 15, 2024.
We need volunteers to help set-up and clean-up for the picnic and help run children's activities during the picnic (crafts, games, food distribution and moon-bounce obstacle course ). The picnic will be held at Cherrywood Park in Olney, MD on Sunday, September 15, 2024 from 12:00, Noon to 4:00pm. We ask that volunteers arrive at 11:30am to help with the set-up and to remain until 4:00pm to help with clean-up.
If you are comfortable helping children with games and crafts, working at food tables and doing some light lifting then our group would be very happy to have your help on September 15th.
If possible please wear a RED shirt to help identify you as a volunteer.
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
