There Goes My Hero is hosting a bone marrow registry drive at the Kunte Kinte Festival to add potential bone marrow/stem cell donors to the bone marrow donor registry to increase blood cancer patients' chances of finding a life-saving match. Volunteers play a crucial role at drives like this one because they help us educate people on the importance of joining the registry and facilitate the swabbing process.
This event takes place on Saturday, September 14th, from 10am-7pm. Volunteers do not have to volunteer for the entirety of the event, but are encouraged to volunteer for at least 2 hours.
If you have any questions about this volunteer opportunity or would like to learn more, please email andrea@theregoesmyhero.org.
