On Saturday, September 14th, Community Bridges is hosting a Cultural Heritage Fair to Remember 9/11 and bring CB families together for the start of a new year! It'll be a fun day for girls and families to explore different cultures. Discover traditional crafts, exciting music, and tasty food while celebrating the rich heritage that brings us all together. It's a day of fun and community for everyone!
CB Volunteers are needed for prep before the event and during the event! We especially invite student volunteers to help with prep and day-of logistics. Volunteer Slot Times include:
Pre-Event on September 11
- 3-6pm at CB Office Pre-Event Volunteering at CB Office (signage making, gathering supplies, etc)
Day-Of Event on September 14
- 12pm-1pm - Set up tables, signs, etc
- 1pm - CULTURAL FAIR STARTS
- 1pm-3pm - Volunteer at Tables
- 1pm-3pm - Food Preparation/Cooking
- 1pm-3pm - Dance workshop
- 12:00pm-5pm - Host Table

Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
