Habitat will offer instruction and supervision, and an opportunity to learn more about our vital work in Montgomery and Prince George’s Counties. We will be engaging in a demo project that requires some heavy lifting. We are requesting volunteers who can lift over 50lbs. All volunteers must wear closed-toe boots or shoes. Open-toe shoes, sandals and high heels are not permitted. Please wear long pants made of sturdy material, such as JEANS. Please bring a pair of proper fitting work gloves. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old to volunteer on the construction site. Habitat has all the tools and safety gear you will need for construction, but you are welcome to bring your own, as well.
