Workforce Investment Council Tabling Support
Description: On Thursday September 26th , we will be participating in a tabling event sponsored by the Workforce Investment Council at a public location in Washington, DC. We will be tabling at this event as an invitee to share information with the community about the services and support we provide organizationally.
Responsible to: Our Volunteer Coordinator, Connor Paul, as well as Diana Fitz.
# of Volunteers Requesting: We are looking for 4 volunteers, 2 for each shift (10 - 12:30 and 12:30 - 3) to join us to assist with the tabling. The specific shift requirements and capacity still available is noted in the sign ups on our portal.
Shift description:
Responsibilities:
- Serving as an Ayuda representative at our table
- Connecting with passerby's to speak about the services we provide as an organization
- Managing the table including setting out additional materials and keeping a tidy/visually appealing space
- Assisting with table breakdown and packing up at the end of the event
Qualifications:
- Volunteers joining will need to be personable, outgoing, and engaging with strong public speaking skills and an ability to connect with individuals from any background
