Calling all teens aged 14-18! Join us for an empowering free all-day service learning project at Cedar Lane Congregation on Friday, October 18th, from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This is your chance to dive deep into democracy, make a real impact, and earn service learning credits!
What’s on the agenda?
- 11:00 a.m.: Workshop on Protecting Democracy - Learn how to get out the vote and tell your story to protect democracy. Discover why these actions matter and how you can drive change.
- 12:30 p.m.: Lunch Break (lunch included)
- 1:00 p.m.: Hands-On Service Project - Write letters and postcards targeting swing state voters and assemble trail mix packets for those in need.
- 3:00 p.m.: Reflection Time - Discuss takeaways of our time together.
