Join us on Friday, 11/15 to help us assemble 400 fresh produce bags, along with 400 dry good bags to be distributed on Saturday, 11/16 for our annual Thanksgiving food drive with Germantown HELP. You will be asked to pack food bags. Be a part of making a difference in our world, starting with our local community in need. Please be prompt as we will have a 10-minute (4:00pm) introduction to our mission and instructions for this event. We will finish by 7:00pm. Please be picked up by then. This event will provide 3 SSL hours.
Bags packed will be distributed on Saturday, 11/16. We will be offering an additional SSL opportunity on Saturday. Please register separately for each event.
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
