Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP) is a nonprofit charity organization whose mission is dedicated to getting kids off the floor and into their own beds by providing the beds and bedding to children in need.

Join us for a fun and rewarding afternoon as we come together to deliver and assemble beds for children in need. Your participation will make a meaningful difference in the lives of these children by ensuring they have a comfortable place to rest and sleep. Purpose
Addressing the silent yet widespread issue of childhood bedlessness, we invite you to be a part of creating a meaningful impact by delivering the beds to our community families. These beds are destined for families in Montgomery County, ensuring that each child receives a complete set, including a bed, mattress, pillow, sheets, and a blanket. Upon delivery, each child gains more than just a bed – they now have a secure and comfortable space to call their own.
Role
As a volunteer for the delivery team, you will join us in delivering the parts & materials to the homes and assembling the beds. Bed parts are prepared ahead of time so very little assembly is required; therefore, no experience is necessary. Once beds are assembled, we will prepare the bed with the mattress, sheets, pillow, and blanket so beds are sleep-ready for all children.
Additionally, volunteers with available trucks or vans for transporting material are much needed and appreciated.
