Arise & Flourish, Inc

Arise and Flourish is a non-profit organization based in Montgomery County, Maryland that speaks to students about substance abuse addiction.  During the last seven years, Arise and Flourish has paved the way through public and private schools on educating our youth of the dangers associated with addiction. Our program delivers a robust and real-life look into the cycle of addiction and provides an understanding, knowledge and in-sight on how to exercise prevention. Arise and Flourish’s family of dedicated volunteers have delivered our program to more than 195 schools and have reached well over 22,000 students with our impactful message of prevention and hope.

Arise and Flourish utilizes volunteers for the following:  

• Student volunteers for Cycle of Addiction Video Review Project 
• Social Media volunteer to provide assistance focusing on social media support
• Fundraising volunteer to provide support during our annual fundraising campaign (January – March)
• Speaker volunteers to deliver our program to local schools in the community
• Volunteers to assist with student evaluation input used for grant proposals for the organization to obtain funding for their ongoing effort
