About Arise and Flourish, Inc.
Arise and Flourish, Inc. is a nonprofit organization registered in Maryland and Virginia, dedicated to preventing substance use and misuse among middle and high school students. For over 12 years, we have partnered with public and private school systems across Maryland and Virginia, reaching more than 49,000 students in nearly 400 schools.
Our Substance Use and Misuse Prevention Program is a powerful, classroom-based educational experience that combines personal storytelling from individuals in recovery with interactive instruction on the Cycle of Addiction. By presenting addiction as a disease and addressing the underlying causes of substance use, we work to reduce stigma, promote early intervention, and empower students to make healthier choices.
