Teens! Do you care about children who are facing emergencies - like being separated from family? Come join our toy wash to clean used stuffed animals to comfort the children.
Want to help kids whose parents can't buy basic toys for them? Come help us sort and clean cars and dolls and puzzles and action figures for them.
Worried about people who are facing January without warm clothes? Join us to sort winter coats and jackets.
Naturally, if you'd like to donate used good-condition toys and warm coats - that's great too. Bring some along when you come to volunteer! Items needed:
Toys (including stuffed animals), picture books for young children, ride-ons for toddlers ---please no rips or stains, religious content, violent content/toy weapons, monogrammed/personalized items, items with missing pieces.
Coats for people of all ages. Also scarves, hats, mittens, gloves ----please no rips or stains or missing buttons.
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours in a public space under direct supervision of the nonprofit organization. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
