Operating also as “The Lord’s Table” Soup Kitchen, our charitable organization prepares and serves free meals daily, October - April, Monday thru Friday, at Epworth UMC, 9008 Rosemont Drive in Gaithersburg, MD. Student volunteers would assist the chefs in the set up, serving, and clean up of the meals from 3-5PM. Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours in a public space under direct supervision of the nonprofit organization. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
