The National Foundation for Cancer Research is hosting our annual conference on Friday, October 24th at the National Press Club in Washington, DC. This year’s event will feature updates in cancer research, new treatment options, a feature on women scientific leaders, work from early-stage oncology start-ups, and our annual scientific awards ceremony.
We are seeking volunteers to help us with setup, breakdown, registration, providing information to attendees, hosting an information or merchandise table, and other duties in the event room during the program.
We are seeking volunteers for two shifts, 7:30am-2:30pm OR 2:30pm-9pm
Dress is business professional
We are happy to provide SSL hours for students or provide letters for community service requirements
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
