Empowering the Ages is looking for volunteers for a new after‑school program at East Silver Spring Elementary School. Beginning on February 11, volunteers will engage with 2nd and 3rd grade students each Wednesday afternoon from 4:15 to 6:00 pm. Activities will include structured games, collaborative art projects, word‑based challenges, and other enrichment opportunities designed to support learning, creativity, and positive intergenerational connection. The program will run on Wednesdays for 7 weeks.
This initiative offers volunteers a meaningful way to contribute to the school community while fostering supportive relationships with young learners.
