About the Role: We are seeking volunteer drivers to help transport seniors. GO Rides is a 15-year organization, founded with the goal of empowering more seniors to age in place. Through this position, you can be the difference in a senior’s life!
Responsibilities:
- Monitor Opportunities: Review our incoming ride requests to determine which trips align with your personal schedule and availability.
- Deliver services: Provide door-to-door rides for in-need seniors in the community
Impact of Your Work: As a driver, you are the heart of GO Rides. By driving, you ensure:
- Vital Connections: Seniors can reach their medical appointments and maintain a connection with their community.
- Community Presence: You become the face of GO Rides at the Chamber of Commerce and local events like Bingo.
- Mission Tracking: Ensure rides are completed safely and on time, helping us maintain our 15-year track record of reliability.
Training & Transition: You won't be doing this alone! GO Rides has a board committed to seniors thriving in Olney. You will also be aided by our staff who are available to answer any questions you may have
