It's that time again - the 4th Annual Field and Fiddle Fest when we celebrate the farms and open spaces of Montgomery County's Ag Reserve. Field and Fiddle is always a great time but it takes lots of help to pull this party off.
Where: Madison Fields Farm, Dickerson MD
When: June 23 4-8pm (Some volunteer shifts take place in the hours and days before and after)
What: Food Trucks, local bands, lawn games, artisan vendors. family fun for everyone.
Why: Across the Nation, 3 acres of farmland is lost to development every minute. In Montgomery County, we have the opportunity to grow farms and cities in harmony. Montgomery Countryside Alliance is the small (but mighty!) nonprofit that protects the Ag Reserve. Field and Fiddle is our annual fundraiser.
We are reaching out for your help - we need volunteers to fill all kinds of roles to make Field and Fiddle a success. Of course, we can provide SSL hours for students (and karma points for the rest of you!). We will take volunteers younger than 12 with a grown-up helper.
