Lead a Student Cohort: Advancing Tomorrow’s Leaders in STEM (ATLAS) Symposium
Date: November 9, 2018
Location: Montgomery College Germantown Campus - Bioscience Education Center
Time commitment: 9 AM – 1PM
MdBio’s ATLAS symposium connects high school students typically underrepresented in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) with business leaders, colleges, government, and potential employers. During the November 9 event, MdBio is seeking energetic young professionals to lead student cohorts during the event and share their passion for STEM. Volunteers will serve as a student group captain, engaging with students to share about their personal journey into STEM as they lead students to different activities during the day. Volunteers will also be able to participate in a hands-on workshop, campus tour, and the ATLAS expo hall.
