On behalf of Hope Restored, Inc. and GapBuster, Inc., we hosting the 4thAnnual Thanksgiving Day “Common Unity Dinner” on Thursday, November 22 at 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Jeffery O. Thames, President of Hope Restored, Inc., has been hosting this dinner and realizes the tremendous impact of his work and this year invited GapBuster, Inc. to co-sponsor the event.
In honor of the late Aerial who was tragically killed in a car accident earlier this year, the annual dinner is being renamed the "Aerial Francis McLean" Thanksgiving Day Common Unity Dinner. Aerial was integral part of making this event successful as well as Jeffery Thames right hand. It’s only fitting that from this day forward we honor her with a scholarship in her name, The Aerial Francis McLean Scholarship Award. This scholarship award is to be given annually.
Hope Restored, Inc. and GapBuster, Inc. is now extremely proud to be able to offer to the homeless, to the needy, to any and all members of our community, an award-winning Thanksgiving meal to be prepared by winner of the worldwide Embassy Chef challenge and owner of Fransar Catering Service, Executive Chef Francis Otoo. He has cooked for kings and queens and will now cook for you. We will also host a One-Stop Shopping Beauty Day. Individuals will be able to get a hair-cut, manicure, and make a holiday card for the sick and shut-in.
Jeffrey’s vision of bringing our communities together for a common purpose has been enlightening and we hope this year you will join us and give a helping hand. We are also collecting donations of the following:
- Winter coats
- Winter Accessories (hats, gloves, and socks)
- Decorations – Purple and Gold
