Clara Barton Center for Children, located at 7425 MacArthur Boulevard, Cabin John, MD, is seeking enthusiastic high school volunteers (must be age 16 or older) for our summer camp program. Duties include working with young children (ages 2 to 5) and assisting teachers as needed. We are seeking students to volunteer from EITHER 9:00 am to noon OR 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm for three or more of the following weeks: June 17, June 24; July 1 (no camp 7/4), July 8, July 15, July 22, July 29, August 5 and August 12.
Students must be available to volunteer at least three weeks (not necessarily consecutive) over the course of the summer. We are SSL approved. This a great volunteer opportunity if you are energetic and enjoy working with young children. Students only, not parents should email Deborah Duffy at info@clarabartoncenter.org. Clara Barton Center for Children is a fully licensed daycare located in Cabin John, MD. We provide a safe and nurturing environment for children ages 2 to 5 years old. We have 5 classrooms, by age, with at least two, well-trained teachers per classroom. We value being part of our community and would like to expand that to include local high school students.
