Small Things Matter is getting ready for #JSERVE2019 on April 7 at B'nai Tzedek Potomac where we will be putting together "Be Your Own Author" kits on Good Deeds Day. Each kit will have 2 books, pencils, marker, crayons, or colored pencils, and writing prompts. These will be shared with underserved children at food distributions, shelters, and children's hospitals.
You will be working with the students at B'nai Tzedek to help assemble these kits as well as making bookmarks for our literacy program. You will receive SSL hours for your participation.

The event is from 10:30-11:30 am, but volunteers can help with the setup 10-10:30am and cleanup 11:30-12noon.
We are also collecting new books for children ages 0-12 for our literacy program so please bring 1 or 2 if you can.
