SEEC is hosting it's annual Fall friend and fundraiser and our 2nd FootGolf tournament at the lovely Sligo Golf Course in Silver Spring, MD.
We are in need of volunteers to help with a variety of tasks throughout the afternoon including:
-support for preparation
-physically setting up tables, signs, etc
-helping with registration when players arrive
-helping with guiding players, guests, vendors around
-general administrative and support duties for an event

FootGolf is a combination of soccer and golf, but the rules and method of play mirror that of golf more than soccer. FootGolf was introduced to North America in 2011 by the American FootGolf League (AFGL). FootGolf models golf’s layout with tee boxes, greens, bunkers, and hazards. Scorecards display par scores for each hole as in golf and the object is to achieve the lowest score by kicking the ball the least amount of times.
Registration begins at 2:30 pm and tee off is at 3:00 pm. Join us following your round of golf for a Barbecue, Resource Fair full of great community organizations, music, and a cash bar! Your round of FootGolf or sponsorship includes one round of play and all you can eat barbecue OR you can join us for the barbecue only. Resource Fair attendance is free!
