Review IDs of people who stay at our 801 E Men's Shelter so they can receive the economic crisis checks they are eligible for under the CARES Act. You will review forms for accuracy, ensure that each person has all correct documents, and obtain required signatures. Using this information, volunteer professional tax specialists will prepare tax returns for the individuals which is required so they can receive the checks. Volunteers at this event will help Catholic Charities meet the immediate economic needs of people in our care.
