Dorothy Day Place is a transitional housing program for men and women living in Montgomery County, Maryland and it provides a crucial bridge between homelessness and permanent housing.
Come stand in solidarity by assisting on keeping this place clean for the people accessing our services! Volunteers will clean up outside and organize the food pantry. Cleaning supplies will be provided.
Qualifications:
- Volunteers must be able to lift and carry over 10lbs
- All volunteers must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination by showing either their vaccination card or a photo of their vaccination card.

Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
