Hi!
Small Things Matter is looking for some teens to help at our community table at the Takoma Park Folk Fest this Sunday, September 8, 2024 from 10:30am-4:30pm at Takoma Park Middle School (7611 Piney Branch Rd, Silver Spring, MD 20910).
MS/HS can earn SSL hours by working in our outdoor booth.
We will be encouraging children and families to make cards to honor first responders (fire fighters, hospital workers, police, etc). These cards will be combined with gift baskets and shared with first responders in remembrance of 9/11.
STM will also be giving out flyers on our feeding programs and sharing bubbles at our community table.
