The National Foundation for Cancer Research has partnered with the Frederick Keys on a Cancer Awareness Night at the ballpark on Friday, July 11th at Nymeo Field at Harry Grove Stadium. As part of NFCR's Play4TheCure campaign, we will be sharing information about the organization and our programs, selling raffle tickets for the 50/50 raffle, selling Play4TheCure merchandise, and hosting a prize wheel.
This is part of a themed jersey night at the stadium, with "Washington Capitals-themed" jerseys worn by the Frederick team that night and auctioned off to raise funds for NFCR.
We are seeking volunteers to help us in a variety of ways to raise awareness and funds for the Foundation.
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
