Description

The Helping Yourself Outreach Program (HYOP) will have our monthly food and clothing distribution event on Saturday, November 4th, 2023 from 10:00 am to 2:00pm, for those in need in the Montgomery County area.  We are requesting volunteers to assist us with distributing packaged food and produce items, as well as distributing clothing items to participants  

Volunteers are asked to arrive promptly at 8:15am on the day of the event to assist with event preparation and setup  

The event will take place at the Hope Grows Child Development Center located at 9845 Lost Knife Road, Montgomery Village, MD 20886, the event will take place outside, near the daycare center. Masks are encouraged to volunteer for this event.

Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian  and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
