Come help us distribute food to our neighbors on Sunday, May 19. Opportunities include coming at 11:30 am to help unload food from the truck that "So What Else" uses to bring recovered food and set up this food and bags of food. This will last until approximately 1:00 pm (1.5 hours total), and volunteers will be expected to lift boxes of 25-50 pounds. The other opportunity is to come at 2:30 until approximately 5:00 pm (2.5 hours) to help with the distribution of the food. Jobs during this shift include helping with the distribution of the food, re-loading food tables as needed, and breaking down of boxes and clean up.
Student participation in this service project is at the discretion of the student’s parent/guardian and must be completed outside of school hours. The nonprofit organization is responsible for maintaining student safety. Parents/guardians should contact the nonprofit directly with any questions and/or concerns.
